What we believe
1 / God
We believe in the triune God: Father, Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit. One eternal Being in three distinct and equal Persons.
2 / The Bible
We believe that the 66 books of the Bible are the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit. As such, it is infallible, authoritative and relevant for our daily lives, having everything we need for life and godliness.
3 / Salvation
We believe that humans were created by God in His image to have a relationship with Him and glorify Him. The first humans, Adam and Eve, disobeyed God which resulted in sin corrupting creation and ruining our relationship with God. Each human is now born sinful and unable to live a life that pleases God and is deserving of God's wrath via eternal punishment. Because we could not reach up to God, He, in His love came down in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a perfect life without sin and deserved eternal life with God, but He took upon the penalty for all sin by dying on the cross. Then, he rose from the dead and ascended to heaven, seated at the right hand of the Father. Now, all who believe in Jesus and repent of their sin receive the eternal life that his perfect life earned. This is salvation and is a free gift of God, not from anything we do. Furthermore, every believer is indwelt by God Himself, in the person of the Holy Spirit, and can now live lives that please God.
